Update on Blakeslee Stadium

When the Minnesota State football team takes the field on historic Blakeslee Stadium this fall, it will do so with new turf under its feet.

Work began last week to remove the old playing surface, drainage and sprinkler systems and install new sod to go with updated drainage and sprinklers.

Here are some photos of the progress, which is on schedule for completion prior to the arrival of the Vikings for their annual training camp in late July.

Alas, the more things change, the more they stay the same....
